எனது தந்தையார் திரு. வேலாயுதம்பிள்ளை சண்முகலிங்கம் அவர்கள் ஒரு பரம சிவ பக்தன். நானும் எனது தந்தையின் வழியைப்பின்பற்றி 2015ஆம் ஆண்டு புரட்டாசி மாதம் 21ஆம் திகதி இவ் ஆலயத்தில் சிவலிங்கத்தை பிரதிஸ்டை செய்தேன்.
சிவலிங்கத்தை வைக்கும் பொழுது எந்தவிதமான ஐதீக முறையிலோ அல்லது சைவ ஆச்சார விதிமுறையோ அல்லது சைவ ஆகம விதி முறைப்படியோ பிரதிஸ்டை செய்யப்படவில்லை என்பதை தாழ்மையுடன் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
